It will give an authentic feel to the celebration! This lovely table setting is from A Fabulous Fete.gallery imageIf you don’t want to risk using the good china (especially around little ones) these floral cups and plates are a fun and really adorable alternative! (And less cleanup!) This floral tableware shop is now available for purchase in our shop! (Source photo).

3. Plan the menu: The menu doesn’t have to be complicated. Just put out a selection of assorted finger sandwiches. These go wonderfully with tea. A cheese board and grapes will also compliment the sandwiches and work great as a nice light snack!

And we can’t forget the most important part of the menu.. tea! Black tea is the traditional tea served but nowadays there are so many options! You can also offer green tea and herbal teas for your guests.

Besides tea, offer a Champagne punch or mimosas as well as a kid-friendly non-alcoholic punch to add more beverage options.

4. Get Dressed Up: Channel your inner child and have fun with it! Dress for the occasion – big hats and gloves in light and flowery prints, which are perfect for a tea party.

Have a wonderful Mother’s Day and happy hosting!
